My friend Ben wrote a wonderful article about Williamsburg fashion and picks the mind of Malin Landaeus. Please check it out!

From RACKED:
“A reader sends us this photo of newish menswear shop ID in Williamsburg offering a very special Brooklyn Borough President markdown. Marty Mark, as the kids call him, took a stroll along Bedford Avenue today to promote neighborhood businesses, stopping to decorate cookies at Whisk and introduce a new clam chowder at Blackbird. He also stopped by ID for a chat with the owner, Pema Kongpo, who also owns Norbu Bijoux next door and Pema across the street. No word on whether he bought anything, but we’re just going to pretend he left with a pair of Superdry jeans for 10% off.”
Sooo… im back?
I had a really rough past couple of months… 2010 hasnt been good to me so far, but i’m slowly getting back into web 2.0… so i’ll be updating more frequently now! :)

I’m marking this one on my calendar!

Atlantic Avenue antiques shop Darr takes the ye olde Brooklyn trend to dark, moody, wonderful places with its collection of battered armoires, vintage anatomical charts, and taxidermied animal heads. Now, the people behind Darr are bringing their special brand of creepy to Williamsburg. Starting Saturday, they’ll be operating a second branch of the store at 101 Metropolitan Avenue (at Wythe.) If this all sounds vaguely familiar, it might be because Darr is owned by the people behind old-timey South Brooklyn menswear boutique Hollander & Lexer, which opened a second Williamsburg location earlier this year.

Osborn’s shoes have amazing prints! Prices range from $48-$150. My pick would be the Mystic bootie for $125 — they embrace the native american prints that are so In right now and they’re in classic black and white, so they go with a lot of my wardrobe! Thanks fashism for the tip!
Fashism Find: Shoes from Osborn Design Studios
These awesomely unique shoes are designed right here in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, by the adorable husband and wife team Carla Venticinque-Osborn and & Aaron Osborn.
Their shoes come in many different styles and patterns, but I particularly like these dark denim oxfords. And they are on sale, so hit up their site and snatch em up while they’re hot.
